This service involves working pitch-side with various sporting teams for emergency and acute care. As a Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT) I have emergency first responder (EFR) and cardiac first responder (CFR) qualifications. I work as an Athletic Therapist with teams, for both training and match cover in the event of an injury or emergency that presents during that time. I have the necessary skills needed to assess, diagnose and treat various injuries.
This work is extremely important to my business, as I am involved with various teams and find great pleasure working with players. I have been pitch-side for various sports teams in soccer, football, hurling and camogie.
I am currently the Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT) for the Waterford Junior and District League Oscar Traynor team and the Ferrybank AFC Men’s Premier team.
